Dr. Kim is a board-certified, fellowship-trained ophthalmologist with more than 30 years of experience serving patients throughout the Central Valley. A native of Northern California, he earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Stanford University. He completed his ophthalmology residency and medical retina fellowship training at Stanford Medical Center and continued to teach as an adjunct clinical faculty at Stanford before co-founding Central Valley Eye Medical Group in 1996.

Over the past three decades, Dr. Kim has helped build one of the region’s most respected multi-specialty ophthalmology practices, serving the communities of Stockton, Manteca, and Modesto. His extensive clinical and surgical expertise includes advanced cataract surgery, premium refractive intraocular lens implantation, and comprehensive ophthalmic care. He also has particular interests in the diagnosis and management of diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, and other retinal diseases.
